Volunteer Opportunities:
FAB is currently interviewing for Board positions!
Are you passionate about empowering youth girls to become strong women, Do you what to make a difference in your community? FAB is looking for Volunteer board members to join our team of incredible, enthusiastic women!
To ensure a mix of talent, background and energy, FAB is particularly interested in candidates who possess one or two of the following skills:
- Fundraising/Sponsorship
- Marketing/Communications
- Corporate Donors
- Recruitment/HR
- Program Development
- Legal/Regulatory
- Governance/Policy
Our working Board of Directors meets one Tuesday every month from 6:30 - 8:30pm, 11 months of the year. Directors support FAB in various capacities by sharing their time, talent, and treasure anywhere from 1 - 10 hours per week, depending on their capacity. Directors are expected to support and attend FAB-led events as well as attend other community events where FAB is being recognised, where possible.
FAB values diversity and inclusion - we are seeking to ensure our Board of Directors are diverse and that we are inclusive of the whole community.
FAB is currently seeking volunteers for our event days!
Each FAB event is unique and exciting, and we’re looking for equally enthusiastic people who are willing to help with everything from event set-up, to registration, to handing out water to runners.
